41 Dogs Rescued From A Property In North Las Vegas Are Looking For Their Families

After 41 English bulldogs and French bulldogs were saved from a fire in a North Las Vegas home, police are working to reunite them with their families.

The fire began as a result of the space heaters beneath the house igniting. A baby and mother were in the house when the fire began, as well as the 41 dogs. The dogs are all in good health now and are being held at a shelter, waiting to be claimed.

So far, over 20 individuals have gone to the Animal Foundation to state which dogs are theirs legally. A few also brought documentation as proof. There have also been many people who hope to be able to adopt one of the purebred rare dogs, which would cost thousands of dollars to purchase ordinarily.

Now, police are focusing on investigating the mother in the house to find out if she was operating an illegal boarding facility or if she was just a breeder. No past criminal records exist for any of the house’s residents, and it is likely that the woman in question will be simply charged for zoning violations as only six dogs are allowed on any single property.

If you believe one of these dogs is yours and you have documentation or proof of this fact, contact Animal Control or drop by the Animal Foundation with your evidence!
