Larson the Labrador pup is having the time of his life by playing in the snow for the first time in his life. Yes! This is the very first time he’s played in the snow and from what you see, he absolutely loved it! After all, who doesn’t like playing in the snow? But let’s not forget, safety first!
According to LoveToKnow, “House dogs that spend the majority of their time inside will find sudden exposure to the cold quite a shock. Just because dogs have fur does not mean that they do not feel the chill, and some breeds of dogs are more prone to cold than others.”
“If a dog is allowed to play outside, monitor him closely and bring him in if he starts to shiver or whine. Limit the length of your pet’s walk in cold temperatures. When it drops below freezing, your pet should spend no more than 10 to 15 minutes outdoors. Even indoors, your pet may feel the cold.
