The problem with allowing our beloved pets to explore the outdoors unsupervised is that the world outside is full of dangerous things that can harm them!
It’s not very hard to find an example – just think of all the cars driving along the road outside your house! It’s a fatal accident asking to happen!
That said, we can’t just keep them indoors forever – the sun and the fresh air is always good for them. So when Milky the Albino Hedgehog is allowed outside for the first time, it is done under Mom’s careful eye – with Loulou the Dachshund acting as an assistant!
The two have a fabulous time playing with each other – Milky constantly trying to catch up to Loulou, and Loulou forgetting her beloved friend can be quite prickly! The price you pay for being friends with a hedgehog, we suppose. Hopefully Loulou and Milky will remember to be more careful next time!
