Dogs are bright. They are clever and tricky. Most pet parents will tell you that their dog has outsmarted them on more than one occasion!

You can train your dog to do just about anything, like fetch the paper, throw things in the garbage, or to hold a treat on its nose until given the command! Some things that dogs do are not trained. They do have days, like children, where they get into trouble. But, when it comes to puppies and food or anything that smells good – all bets are off!

It doesn’t matter if the dog knows it is ‘wrong,’ they are probably going do their best to get the good stuff! Take the German shepherd puppy in the video below, for example. There is no way he doesn’t hear mom say ‘no!’ But he just can’t help himself! It was in the dishwasher – the spoon was fair game!
