Bosco the beagle got himself loose, and by the time his human realized his precious dog was missing, Bosco managed to get himself far too lost to be able to get back home.
Bosco was scared, but he still followed his instincts and somehow managed to survive a tough life on the street… for 764 days!
He first got loose in 2014 but was just recently found in Massachusetts, hanging out by some restaurants. After being sighted on and off, Missing Dogs of Massachusetts set a trap with a camera monitoring it. Bosco reappeared, walked in to it, and was finally caught!
Volunteers at Missing Dogs of Massachusetts believe he ate pretty well during his time on the streets.
While his owner is unable to travel due to health issues, Missing Dogs of Massachusetts is currently working with him to figure out a way to get Bosco back home where he belongs!
