It’s important to train pups self-restraint, especially when it comes to food, as this will stop them from gobbling up stuff that they find on the floor and getting themselves in trouble.

But training for this can be an especially grueling task because, as we all know, it’s hard for a pup to resist a treat!

Peanut, a 9-week-old golden retriever, is receiving training of this nature. It’s difficult for her to hold herself back when Daddy places two yummy treats right on her paw and asks her to wait, but she tries her best. A few times, she almost gives into the temptation, but Daddy is there to remind her that waiting has its rewards. Just look at how she’s staring at those treats! I can practically hear her salivating!
