Be Very Quiet Because This Pup Is Seriously Giving Thought To These Paintings!

Think professional critics are a tough crowd to please? Wait till you meet Ella Fitzgerald the six-year-old golden retriever pup!

Ella’s Mommy, Julia Powell, loves to paint. Every time she’s finished with a painting, she sets it up outside to dry, and the pup will walk towards them, take a seat in front of each one, and scrutinize them closely.

There are many occasions where the pup will don glasses, a hat, a scarf, or even all three when she’s carefully examining the works of art. Sometimes, she will even turn to look at the camera very slowly when Mommy records her critiques, and then she’ll turn back to the painting again, almost snootily!

It’s this funny and adorable charm that has gained Ella over 40,000 followers on Instagram. According to Mommy, Ella’s favorite paintings involve the color blue, and her least favorites tend to be paintings of trees or those which use a lot of red and orange.
