Boy With Rare Disorder Hates His Looks, Then He Meets His Dog Twin!

Eight-year-old Carter Blanchard has vitiligo, a skin condition that results in the pigmentation of his cells being destroyed in some places, which in turn causes patches of depigmented skin on the body.

He had difficulty accepting himself and hated how he looked, until a certain friend helped him realize how wrong he was.

You may have heard of Rowdy, a 13-year-old labrador pup with vitiligo who reached fame due to his condition. He was diagnosed the same year as Carter, and as soon as Carter’s mom found out, she reached out to them in hopes they could meet. And they did! Carter was beyond ecstatic to meet a pup so special and friendly that was just like him.
