Some pups just naturally take to the water like a duck does to a lake. There is something about the water that fascinates them, that makes them happy – especially when they are allowed to dive in and go swimming in it! After all, there is a reason most Moms and Dads will soon find themselves having to fence off the swimming pool, lest the pups take a dip unattended.
Obviously, certain pup breeds were bred to work with water. The most famous of these breeds is the Newfoundland pup, whose body was designed from the very top, where this pup’s fur is almost water-repellent in nature, to the bottom, where the pup naturally has webbed feet!
Other pups aren’t bred so specifically for the water, but there is no denying that some pups are meant to work with water. Just take a look at this Golden Retriever doing its namesake – retrieving a brick at the bottom of a lake!
