Dying Dog Has A Special Bucket List - To Ride A Plane, A Sports Car And A Gondola

Katie the English bulldog was born with a superficial liver shunt, a rare defect that meant she needed surgery at a very young age.

To help make sure that her life was as full as it could be, her Mom, Debbie Pack, decided to create a bucket list for her with 33 items, all for things the dog could do before she would undergo the surgery.

What has the dog done so far? Countless different things! She’s ridden in a sports car. She’s hopped on a plane. She’s drifted down water in a gondola. She’s been made an honorary police officer. She’s been made an honorary firefighter, too. All of this was funded in part by a GoFundMe page set up just for her.

Donations poured in for months and the dog managed to have many happy experiences. Her Mom is truly thrilled about the effect that Katie has had on the world. In July, the dog successfully underwent her surgery and came out relatively unscathed. Her Mom continues to spread her story, hoping to inspire countless others around the world to live their lives to the fullest. For now, Katie is recovering, but she may continue her bucket list endeavors yet!
