Forty Eight Labrador Pups Seized From An Unlicensed Breeder In Wisconsin

According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) a total of forty eight labrador pups were seized from an unlicensed breeder in western Wisconsin.

I do not understand the reason why unlicensed breeders carry out breeding when clearly they are not qualified. That’s like saying, “Hey this man isn’t really qualified to perform a surgery, but he’s ready to perform one on you.” Would you ever trust doctors? No. This is exactly what’s happening here. Breeders come from anywhere and start breeding poor defenseless pups without any license or qualifications.

Do these unqualified breeders know the health consequences? No. I mean they do, but they don’t care – they’re only in it to make some cash and this is why I’m happy this unlicensed breeder was arrested. But sad that the Pierce County Sheriff found several dead pups on this owner’s property in Elmwood.

The ASPCA seized 35 adult dogs and 13 puppies, all in terrible condition since neither of them had any food or water. They will all receive medical treatment at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley. The pups would be up for adoption once the case is over, and as for the owner, he/she will face charges for animal mistreatment, not providing enough food for confined animals and improper sheltering.
