On the 4th of April 2010, Alaskan State Trooper Terrence Shanigan was slowly driving on the snow covered roads when he spotted Buddy, a German shepherd all alone in the middle of the road.
Instead of driving away, Trooper Shanigan realized that there was something wrong. As an experienced dog sledder he realized that the fur ball was trying to tell him him something. He said, “He wasn’t running from me, but was leading me… I just felt like I was being led … it’s just one of those things that we’re thinking on the same page for that brief moment.”
As soon as the officer reached, he saw that Buddy’s daddy was in danger and he needed help to escape from the fire. Buddy was hailed a HERO since then, however this hero has passed away after a lengthy battle with liver cancer. Take a look at this footage of Buddy and don’t forget to like and share this pup’s bravery with your friends too.
