Is This Dachshund Part Meerkat?

Blaze, the tiny dachshund, loves to look out the window from his mom’s bed but he does it meerkat style. It must be hard to balance on a bed but Blaze doesn’t even wobble, he’s so good at it.

Look at that ramrod straight back, not one bend anywhere and he can keep it up for hours. If the window is open Blaze is there watching! It’s important to be careful with his back though, being a dachshund he is prone to back trouble.

Watching television with mom is fun but he still has to keep an eye on what is going on outside in his domain. Blaze is sitting up and watching for whatever is going on in his yard just like real meerkats do!
