Mom Buries Her German Shepherd Pup's Ashes. Now Look At His Tombstone. OMG.

Service pups are soldiers, and when they pass away, are deserving of a soldier’s burial. Pam Pelton was a firm believer in this fact.

Her pup Max, a German shepherd, was did four years of active duty with the air force and was retired in 2007 after he failed his recertification exam for being “too nice”. So we already know Max is a soft-hearted, friendly, sweet fur ball! When Max passed away, his mommy tried to find an appropriate burial place for him, but military cemeteries wouldn’t take him! She was often given the suggestion of burying him in a pet cemetery, but she knew that wasn’t the way to go.

“He wasn’t a pet, he was a soldier,” she said. And she’s right! Then, she found MSPCA Hillside Acre Cemetery, who had a dedicated section for war pups. Max became the first fur ball to be buried in that space. Those who knew and loved him came for his burial service to pay their respects. Incredible! Like and share if you’re happy Max got the burial he deserved! Rest in peace, Max, and we thank you for your service!
