Party Animal Recalled More Canned Dog Food Due To Euthanasia Drug

Do you buy food from the brand Party Animal for your pups? If so, then please read this information, as they have issued a recall!

This company from West Hollywood, California sent out a voluntary recall regarding some types of their food due to contamination by a euthanasia drug known as pentobarbital. This chemical is a barbiturate that, when consumed, can cause drowsiness, dizziness, excitement, loss of balance, nausea, and even fatalities in more extreme cases.

The products affected by this recall are 12oz cans that were manufactured and distributed back in 2015. The details are as follows:

1. Name: Cocolicious Beef and Turkey
Lot number: Lot #0136E15204 04

2. Name: Cocolicious Chicken and Beef
Lot number: Lot #0134E15 237 13
Best by date: August 2019

Both of the products with this description tested positive for the drug, so if you have this food, then please do not feed it to your pups!

This comes not too long after brands Evanger’s and Against the Grain recalled some of their products for the same reason. You can read about Evanger’s two recalls here and here, and about Against the Grain’s recall here.
