Cats are very easily spooked. So it takes a special kind of gentle soul to coax a kitten into a sense of safety and security where they can put their trust in someone else.
Who better to encourage that trust than a dog? After all, pups are empathetic, kind, and have such big hearts!
This tiny orange kitten is five weeks old, and one of the young foster siblings to a big English cream golden retriever pup. The pup is always protective of his new young charges, which is probably why the kitten felt brave enough to climb onto the pup’s back and sit there, meowing to declare her position. Meanwhile, the pup just sits there and lets her do as she pleases. He’s a sweetheart!
Sadly, this position doesn’t last forever – the pup can’t resist turning his head to look at the cat, who consequently slips off. Oh dear! Well, maybe next time! Like and share away, people!
