Everyone meet Olive, an adorable dachshund pup who just found her forever loving home and just as you would expect, here’s how she reacted! If you’re planning on getting a dachshund pup, prepare for this!

Although when they made the video, they hadn’t thought of a name, this is Olive and she was just a tiny puppy when they brought her home in 2008! Now when you get a tiny puppy home, you have to plan it out, you know. You should have a check list ready so that you don’t miss out on anything.

But what should you not do when you bring home your puppy? According to PetWave, “Do not give your puppy attention when it behaves in the wrong way. Any kind of attention, even negative, will encourage your puppy to repeat that behavior. Instead you should ignore your puppy when it engages in bad behavior. Do not play with your puppy using your hands or feet. The puppy will begin to think hands and feet are appropriate play toys. This type of ‘play’ can encourage nipping and biting when the puppy grows older.”
