When a pup is mistreated, it’s only right that others step in to help and take the initiative to get them the care they need. Guardians of Rescue (GOR) were called in to a home in Suffolk County, New York, about a dog needing a dog house, they found something worse.
In the backyard, a senior pup named Bear had spent about 15 years living chained in the backyard. The pup had likely never experienced anything else out of life, and only knew the world that he could reach while chained. GOR knew they had to do something, so they talked to Bear’s owner and he agreed to surrender the pup to them.
As soon as Bear was free, he was shown as much love and pampering as possible. He was taken to the spa for grooming, then brought to Port Jefferson in New York to visit the beach for the very first time. He stood with his paws in the water, played with ducks and gulls, and enjoyed the sand. He even got a tasty puppuccino after!
GOR plans to bring Bear on many more adventures so he can catch up on the world – to dog parks, and on car rides, and many more – and he’s now looking for a forever home that can give him the care and love he deserves. Interested? Contact GOR at email@example.com or 631-891-8430. Do like and share!
