Even the most normal and common of routines and habits have exceptions to their rules. Most pups drink water neatly with their tongues.
They lap at the liquid until they’re no longer thirsty, and even if some of the water spills, it’s never a violent mess.
Apparently, that’s not the case for all dogs! This funny German shepherd pup is six months old, and ever since he first came home at 10 weeks old, he’s had a funny way of drinking water! Instead of using his tongue, he jabs at the water with his whole mouth and snaps his jaw, almost as though he’s trying to eat instead of drink! Water droplets splash everywhere as he takes big gulps. Slow down, pup!
