Adding variety to a pup’s snacks and treats can spice things up and add a little more fun to everyday routines. That’s why Rambo, a German shepherd pup who is twenty months old, is about to be given a brand new kind of food to try out!

This pup isn’t sure what to expect when a quail egg is placed next to him on his hammock bed. First, he thinks it might be a toy. The fact that it’s so small that it spends its time rolling around and evading his paws when he tries to grab it is a sign of that! But when he finally manages to catch it and keep it still, he realizes that it’s actually something edible. It isn’t long then before he crunches it all up. Yummy! I think he likes it!

Before you ask – yes, dogs can eat eggshells! In fact, in moderation, they can offer a lot of calcium and protein for a pup. So don’t be afraid to roll your pup a boiled egg once in awhile!
