Rescue Beagle Rolls To His Heart's Delight As He Waits For His Forever Home!

This beagle is one happy dog!

He has been rescued and is so grateful, he just can’t wait to wiggle and roll in the grass and enjoy the fact that he has a future!

Now all sweet Columbo the beagle needs is a forever loving home!

According to his YouTube description, “COLOMBO is a 7 yr old rescue beagle with SouthEast Beagle Rescue in Tampa, FL. He is presently in a foster home. He accompanies his ‘sister’ Mimi Basset when she comes for daycare.
He certainly enjoyed it!”

The rescue that saved him says, “Colombo is a very good natured, obedient little man. He has recently been moved to a new foster home and it did not take him long to relax and adjust. Colombo enjoys the company of a lovely Bassett Hound now in his foster home and they love to explore together in the yard. Colombo’s nose is of course to the ground! His foster mom is working on training him to respond to “come” when they are in the yard but he is often right there as he tends to follow her around a lot. She says that Colombo is very trainable. He is also typical beagle in that he is very food motivated and gets very excited when he is getting fed. She is working on a sit and stay before he gets his food but he is one of those beagles that gets really, really excited about the eating experience! Colombo sleeps well in his crate at night and will also voluntarily go into a crate to nap at times during the day. Colombo did test positive for heartworms and is still going through the recovery from the treatment but his health is steadily improving now that he has people to care for him! This is a lovely, easy going beagle boy that has a lot of love and affection to give in his gentle way – we know there is a family out there that will be a perfect fit for this guy!”
