Rescue Pup Looks Breathtakingly Beautiful In Her Very Own Maternity Photoshoot!

Mama Pickles was heavily pregnant when she was spotted all on her own in September. At two years old, the pup was in serious need of help. Animal control officers were able to get her into a shelter, but when they contacted the pup’s family, they said they no longer wanted the precious two-year-old pooch.

The shelter was worried because they weren’t sure they could provide the necessary care to the very pregnant pup. Luckily, Pits & Giggles Rescue, which focuses mainly on nursing mom dogs and their little ones, stepped in to help.

Mama Pickles was beyond thrilled! She wanted to give everyone love and kisses at the shelter, even if her big tummy made it difficult. Her mischievous, playful, loving energy shone through beautifully!

Shelter staff decided that Mama Pickles would really enjoy a special maternity shoot, and the pup was even more eager to participate. With treats and attention, the pup was over the moon.

Photographers sure had a hard time keeping her still; she kept wanting more love! She would make amazing, sassy poses, then turn around and fall over herself!

Soon after the photoshoot, Mama Pickles went into labor. Now, she’s the mother to eight little female puppies! The staff couldn’t resist doing another photo shoot, this time as a newborn celebration. Mama Pickles was still excited, but much more composed, proudly showing off her little family.

It is believed that Mama Pickles was once used as a breeding dog, and she’ll finally get a break from motherhood now, as staff will ensure this is her last litter.

She and her babies are now resting up until they’re ready for adoption!
