Did you know that approximately three million animals are put down in shelters across the United States each year?
Nico, a nine-year-old German shepherd, was about to be one of them, when he was rescued by Sav-A-Pet in Bellaire, TX. The company is a veterinary-based non-profit organization. Nico had four different skin tumors, resulting in an abundance of excess skin, but Sav-A-Pet managed to save him. What a relief! But now Nico has been living with Sav-A-Pet for a year and has yet to be adopted following his tenth birthday.
Many of these pups are undeserving of the hand that fate has dealt them. So if you’re looking for a fur ball to add to your family, please consider adopting Nico, or another pup, from a shelter. You could save their life. If you would like to contact someone about adoption from Sav-A-Pet, the email address you need is savapetwac@yahoo.com. Please share this with your friends so Nico can find the loving home he deserves.
