Smallbatch Pets Recalls Dog Food Due To Possible Salmonella Contamination

If you purchase Smallbatch frozen food for your pup, then please read this article, as some of their products have been recalled!

Smallbatch, a company from Portland, Oregon, issued a recall for their Chicken Blend product due to the possibility of a salmonella contamination. This is due to the bacteria being discovered during routine testing performed by the FDA.

The virus can infect pets who consume the food and also poses a risk to humans who handle the food if their hands have not been washed after touching the product. Infected pups may display signs of lethargy or experience diarrhea and vomiting. They may also develop fevers. Humans who are infected may become nauseous and experience fevers, abdominal cramping, vomiting, and diarrhea.
