Pups can seem so fearless when they take off running after any critters they see or when they brazenly bark at the giant trucks driving by on the roads outside.

But the fact is that they can be so easily scared of the smallest things, even ones that are entirely harmless!

This golden retriever puppy is absolutely adorable, and apparently, has a little fear of fruit. When a slice of lemon is set down in front of her, she doesn’t know what to do! She seems very concerned and skeptical. So she does what any pup would do – she barks fiercely and dances around it, sometimes trying to bat at it with her paw but always too scared to get close enough. What’s going on?
