Adding another member to the family is always an exciting event. For Ann and Danny Johnson, however, this celebration is so much more important to them than it would be for other people – they’ve been trying to induce a pregnancy for 11 years.

At long last, the 31 and 33-year-olds can finally introduce baby Charlotte to their growing family in Hurricane, Utah. And what an exciting event it is, too – it’s the first time Sadie the Golden Retriever and Leo, Junior and, Marry-Jane the rescue cats get to meet this beloved addition to the family!

In this video, Sadie is meeting the newborn baby for the very first time – and it’s clear she’s smitten. She’s incredibly excited about all this, and can’t stop sniffing the newborn baby! It’s clear she knows she has to be gentle with Charlotte, but she can hardly contain herself. In the end, she just flops onto the floor and places a paw on Charlotte, like a knight swearing fealty!
