Have you ever tried to confront a pup for something they did wrong?
Although it has been well noted by professionals and researchers that pups have short working memories (and thus are unable to associate your anger at them for something they have done in the past), that sure doesn’t seem like it. Just take a look at this video for example!
Leo the Dachshund pup is lying down all curled up in a corner, trying his best to look as innocent as possible. Hilariously, when Mom brings up his chewed-up harness to his face, he tries to avoid looking at it as much as possible!
It should be noted that as adorable as these things are, one should always maintain a calm and relaxed body language. This is because that is what your pups truly read, instead of being able to correlate an action they have done in the past with your angry self in the present!
