This Adorable Pup Is Sharing Her Home With 4 Rescued Chickens! Check This Out!

Loulou the dachshund pup and her Mom recently opened up their home to four lovely little rescued chickens. It’s just a temporary arrangement, and the chickens will only be there for three weeks. Still, they’ve already settled in very nicely and are enjoying their foster arrangement!

Because the weather has gotten hotter where they live, Mom makes sure to set out lots of available shady spots, as well as a wide array of areas to sunbathe in. Meanwhile, Loulou is having a blast. She likes to eat leftover or scattered chicken food that she finds.

Loulou also gets to eat some of the unfertilized eggs that the chickens lay. (Do note that you shouldn’t give your pup raw eggs too often; once in a while is fine, but boiled one are your best bet!) It’s safe to say that Loulou is enjoying her new temporary companions – both for her extra treats and for the lovely friendships she’s building!
