Let’s help the Baldwin Park Shelter in getting a pup adopted. Alcon the eight-year-old German shepherd pup arrived at the center when his previous family gave him up due to being unable to spend time with him.
Some signs of neglect are visible on the pup – he has healed fly strikes on his body and was likely left outside a lot.
The pup is shy and slightly nervous in the loud and bustling shelter environment, but staff note that he shows no signs of aggression and simply seems to be confused as to why he is here and not back in his old home. The pup has a gentle and intelligent soul, and is the kind of pup who would benefit from having a purpose, be it work or loyalty to family, to help him live to his fullest. On top of all that, this pup is also incredibly handsome and has beautiful amber eyes!
While his video is being filmed, Alcon becomes tired of the environment and attempts to escape. The poor pup is really in need of the forever home that will give him the care he’s always deserved! Want to adopt this pup? Contact the Baldwin Park Shelter at (626) 962-3577) or visit them at their address at 4275 Elton St, Baldwin Park, CA 91706. Please share to help Alcon find a family!
