As any responsible Mom and Dad is fully aware of, exercise is very important for pups!
Not only does it help burn off any excess energy so they don’t get into mischief (and thus make it much easier for the parents to handle), but it contributes greatly to your pup’s good health. Because of this, the most basic activity you are expected to carry out as a parent is to walk your pup.
The intensity and length of this walk, of course, varies depending on breed, energy levels, and most importantly, age. An older pup would obviously have much less energy to burn compared to a younger pup. As a result, you may have an older pup deciding to take a break in the middle of their walk, just like this Golden Retriever pup!
You can see by the whiteness of her muzzle that this pup is a grand old dame, so it is no surprise she had to stop to take a break and lie down on the road!
