This Adorable Puppy Learned To Go Down The Stairs Thanks To Her 3-Legged Brother!

Bowie is a three-legged pup who lost a back leg due to health complications in August. Although the 2-year-old dog had to relearn how to do a lot of standard, everyday things, he kept his chin up and figured it out with all his smarts.

One of the things Bowie learned to do is go down the stairs, which he does by pushing himself against the wall and hopping downstairs slowly. He’s gotten very good at the process – something Zeppelin, a new little pup who joined the household in January, has noticed all too well!

Zeppelin very much looks up to her big brother, so she models a lot of her behavior after him. They’re very close and are practically joined at the hip, so they love to play all the time or cuddle up together. Eventually, she grew larger than her big brother, but she still considers him her role model!

Whenever Zeppelin goes down the stairs, she hops. When she was still young, her family figured that she just didn’t have long enough legs to run down normally.

But now that she’s much bigger, it’s clear that the reason she presses herself against the wall and does funny little leaps down the stairs is because she’s copying her big brother!

She even puts her hind legs together as she does so, mimicking the one-legged-ness of her brother. Mom and Dad have attempted to show Zeppelin that she can easily just dash down, but it seems that she really wants to keep up her habit. So, until today, she heads down the stairs the same way Bowie does!

She doesn’t care that there’s an easier way – she just cares about her brother!
