This Adorable Service Pup Is All Set To Pick Out A Present On His Birthday!

Toli and Michael Cantu are incredibly close. Toli is Cantu’s service dog, and he’s done everything he can to help Cantu live in an easier way.

He knows how to open and close doors, pull out drawers, pick up dropped items, turn the lights on and off, and basically anything that the pup can do to make Cantu’s life a little more accessible.

Toli gives a lot – but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t get to have a special day just for himself! And that special day came in the form of his 4th birthday.

To celebrate, Cantu decided to take him to a nearby pet store, where Toli was told to choose a new toy for himself. For many dogs, this would be a cause for a lot of excitement and an inability to choose – or choosing too many! But not for Toli. With his tail wagging, Toli wandered through the aisle of toys, sniffing at each option as though mulling them over.

It was as if he knew what he was supposed to do. After a little perusal, he decided on the toy he wanted – a brown stuffed rabbit! He picked it up and, decision made, trotted back to Cantu. This is a tradition that the pair have done on almost all Toli’s birthdays!

Toli definitely loves his birthday gift! Since receiving it, he’s brought it everywhere, cuddled it whenever he’s going for a nap, and overall, just really been enjoying his new best friend. The rabbit has since been named Chungus. After all he’s done for his Dad, it’s a present well-deserved!
