A pup’s first swim can be lots of fun! There’s lots to learn and discover for a fur ball who’s just learning to paddle around in the water.

Some pups fall in love with the sensation of swimming, while others need a little time to adjust. Time to find out what it’ll be like for Mia the beagle pup! This fur ball is going for her first swim in the water today. Daddy helps Mia to get into the water first, lifting her up gently and setting her down close to shore where the water’s still pretty shallow.

Mia gets the hang of swimming immediately, paddling without a problem. Wow! What a good girl! But she doesn’t want to hang around too long, so she swims straight back to shore. Maybe the water just isn’t for her? This talented pup had no trouble swimming, so maybe one day she’ll splash happily into the water of her own accord!
