You would imagine that people breeding puppies would be incredibly diligent about it. Alas, there are a lot of people out there who just do not care at all – and it seems that the previous owner of this puppy was one of them.
This prospective pair of parents had spotted an online advert trying to sell off a Labrador Retriever puppy for £400. It sounded genuine enough, and there didn’t seem to be anything fishy about it – so off they went to check out the puppy. It was only when they arrived on site did they realize the horror of it all.
As it turned out, the puppy was kept in a rabbit hutch with another puppy – far too small and cramped for one growing puppy, much less two. Deciding to save him, the couple brought him back home to Mayhew so that he can be cared for until he was healthy again!
