If you want to see a really unique and special best friend relationship, then look no further than the home of Pam Ishiguro.

She has plenty of pets at home, including a flock of seven lovely ducks and a golden retriever named Barclay.

When the ducks were first brought home, Barclay didn’t care much about them; until he found out that they have yummy food and that he can steal it from them sometimes! The ducks began to take an interest in the pup when he showed up to say hi, especially one four-year-old Pekin named Rudy.

While the pup is relaxed and calm, Rudy is sassy and feisty. He acts like an Alpha over Barclay, and the pup in turn is gentle with him and lets him do as he pleases. But don’t get me wrong – Rudy really loves Barclay! He likes him way more than any of the other dogs in the house, and whenever another duck gets too close to the pup, he makes sure to chase them away!
