You’ve heard of guide pups for visually impaired humans, but did you know that blind pups can have fur ball guides too?
Herbie the dachshund pup is blind, but he makes it through the day just fine with the help of his best friend Hilda, also a dachshund! These charming pups were rescued from a backyard where they had been abandoned and taken to Marion County Dog Services shelter. Staff quickly noticed that Herbie often had difficulty seeing where he was going and was frequently walking into walls, but Hilda was always there to guide him.
What a sweet, kind pup! She must love her furry friend so much to look after him like that. The two pups were soon adopted by John and Dorothy, a retired couple touring the west coast in their camper van. These lucky fur balls now get to join them on their adventure through the west before returning back to Washington. Aren’t you glad these pups found a forever loving home? If you are, then give this a like and share away!
