Meet Ivy and Luna. One is an adorable Labrador and the other is a beautiful golden retriever and they’re sitting in the backyard, but do you know why? Well here’s a hint – if you have a backyard and you’re a pet parent, the backyard is where you almost always are!
Ivy and Sasha cannot believe that spring is finally here for them to enjoy! No more snow, no more coats or jackets, no more cold, either! They weather is just perfect… to play fetch! But spring time doesn’t really mean our precious fur babies can just run about and have all the fun they want! Well, they can, but safety first!
According to Cesar’s Way, “Depending on where you live mosquitoes start becoming more active — and mosquitos can transmit heartworm disease. In addition to mosquitoes, ticks and fleas become more prevalent as well. There are a variety of products available to combat these nuisances, so ask your veterinarian which one is best for your dog.”
“Spring is a good time to check and make sure your dog’s vaccinations are up to date. Spring for some people means it is time to plan and start your garden. Selecting plants that are safe for dogs will go a long way in preventing toxicities from occurring.” Well that said, you should still contact your vet to see how you can make sure your fur balls are safe this season.
