20 Times Dogs Turned Out To Be A Different Breed Than Anticipated! (Part 1)

Don’t you just love it when you bring home your first dog from the shelter and how you think you’ve brought home a beagle and they turned out to be a Great Dane?!

Imagine that you finally bring home your dog… nothing looks suspicious, days go by and who you thought was a beagle starts looking different. It gets to a point that you tell yourself that your dog is everything but a beagle!

Well, turns out a lot of people bring home their dogs, but as days go by, they realize that their dog isn’t the breed they were anticipating. That, of course, doesn’t matter to them because all dogs are special. All dogs are perfect. Check out how some of these dogs turned out to be a different breed than anticipated!

He’s a hound mix… they said. He will be 45 lbs max… they said. They didn’t say he was mixed with Great Dane. And that he would be 45 lbs when he was 4 months old. Loki is now a comfortable 100lbs.

The shelter said boxer mix. After doing Wisdom Panel, we found out he’s 50% American Staffordshire Terrier, 12.5% Australian Shepherd, 12.5% Australian Cattle Dog, 12.5% Mastiff () and 12.5% other. 77 lbs of good boy.

She was supposed to be a yorkshire. Turned out better than what we asked for.

My handsome “maltese x fox terrier” boy. No idea what breeds are in there but he is amazing regardless
