Dear Diary,

So here I am again and this time I made sure my person records my talent! You see, I’ve been trying very hard to jump on the couch, but usually landed on my feet…on the ground. Yes, what’s a dachshund got to do? I mean, just look at me, I’m tiny. I’m not a German Shepherd Dog, those guys are so lucky to be tall and all…hmm…that makes me wonder whether they even need to jump to get on the couch…

So I’m a dachshund and a dachshund’s got to do what a dachshund got to do, right? So I finally made it! I finally jumped and landed on my feet on the couch! Thankfully my person recorded the whole thing so I know I really did it! Whoa! I deserve a treat! A big one, too! Look at the way I jump and if you liked it, show it to your friends!

Maybe I should ask my humans for a ramp. I hear that makes it easier for doxies like me to get on the couch. Hmm…
