While some dog parents are constantly looking for ways to engage their dogs and give them the right amount of exercise to keep them healthy and fit, other dog parents just want to lounge of the couch and binge-watch Netflix with their dogs. Here are some breeds that don’t need a huge amount of exercise!
1. English Bulldogs
Although English Bulldogs are athletic dogs, they’re excellent at lounging and keeping you company while you binge-watch your favorite shows on Netflix! According to some, bulldogs require at least 20 minutes of exercise and a maximum of 40 minutes of exercise so that there’s no stress on their bones, joints, and muscles.
2. Chow Chow
Um.. giant pillows anyone? These dogs are happy to spend their evenings all snuggled up with you on the couch! According to experts, these dogs are happy with a 15-minute walk every day!
3. Bichon Frise
While grooming can cost you, these adorable dogs are happy to stay put on your couch until you finish all your seasons! They require a daily walk of 20-30 minutes after which they’re free to cuddle all day long!
4. Bullmastiff
While these dogs look big and are big, they surprisingly don’t need much exercise! According to experts, an adult bullmastiff should get 30-45 minutes of exercise which includes walks, free play and strengthening exercises. High impact exercises can cause joint pain.
5. Miniature Pinscher
These tiny little dogs are great companions and won’t mind binge-watching Netflix with you! According to experts, these dogs need 40 minutes of exercise every day!
