10 Incredible Hacks For Lazy Dog Parents! (Part 1)

I’m sure there are many lazy dog parents, like me, for example. I’m self-proclaimed and proud too. I find ways to make my life easier, even when it’s easy enough.

People, here’s a secret. There’s no other satisfaction that matches the satisfaction you get living a sloth-life with your dog at the end of a long day. I constantly look for ways to make life easier for me and my dog and dog parents know, it ain’t easy. Here are some incredible hacks for lazy dog parents!

1. Brushing teeth

You know that brushing your dog’s teeth is important for their overall health, but if you’re a lazy dog parent, you know brushing is a task. So put some doggie toothpaste on your dog’s rope or chew toy and let your dog do the brushing for you! Yep, and they do an incredible job brushing too.

2. Fresh breath

Kibble breath can hit you from a mile, we know that. So if you want to avoid that breath, add a little chopped parsley in your dog’s meal and voila! I tried it too, and it works.

3. Tired, but dog wants to play?

Well, personally after a long day of hard work, I come home to a very energetic pup ready to play. While I’d love to play as much as my dog wants, I can’t because I’m human and I get tired. So what do I do? I tie a rope toy on my foot and my dog plays with it all evening.

4. Dog still wants to play, but you’re super tired?

Well, take 15 minutes to hide different treats and toys around the house and let your dog entertain themselves while you bask in the glory of being couch potato for a little while.

5. Dog eats food before you finish pouring?

Well, if your dog is a fast eater, throw a tennis ball in their bowl and watch them take their time to eat. This way, your dog eats slowly, hardly barfs and enjoys mealtime. That’s until they learn to remove the tennis ball from their bowl.
