10 Reasons Why Dogs Are Better Significant Others Than Humans! (Part 2)

We can’t even begin to imagine the love our dogs have for us. No scientist has even been able to come up with a metric to measure their love for us, it’s just impossible, people. In a perfect world, I’d choose to have my dog as my significant other, wouldn’t you?

Wouldn’t dogs make the perfect partner? Here are some reasons why dogs are better significant others than most humans! Oh, and here’s Part 1, in case you missed it!

1. Cooking

When you just want to kick back and relax, you don’t want to do any cooking, who are you going to rely on? Your dog. That’s who. While a human significant other can cook pasta and noodles, dogs would give you the exotic taste of dog bones and biscuits. What’s not to like?

2. Personal Alarm

Want to wake up in the morning, but don’t remember where your alarm clock is? Your dog probably destroyed it, but don’t fret. Your dog will wake you up earlier than your alarm clock ever did, and you know the best part? They wake you up with kisses and cuddles. Tell me a human who does that.

3. Natural Babysitter

Tell a human that you’d like them to help take care of children and they’re going to give you *that* look. You know that look. But tell a dog? In fact, they’re already taking care of children without you even asking them to. They’ll keep the children occupied and happy, and safe from all dangers.

4. Fitness Motivator

A human significant other would probably request you to sleep in a few times a week, but not your dog, because they want you to be healthy and fit for the rest of your life. So what do they do? They bring over their leash, a frisbee, a ball, or all of it together so you can play and stay healthy! Heart health is important to them.

5. Presents

Every day is a new day for dogs, and while a human significant other would forget to gift you something on the date you both went out for the 10th time, your dog wouldn’t. Yes their gifts are a bit… eccentric, if I may, but gifts are gifts, right?
