We love our dogs to the moon and beyond people, so being overprotective is just one of telling people that nothing and no one can ever hurt my dog on my watch. And that, my friends, won’t ever change. Nope.

Here are some signs you’re an overprotective dog parent! Here’s Part 1, in case you missed it!

1. At the mall? In a class? At driving school? At a wedding? A movie theatre? A game? Wherever you go, you take your dog with you. You don’t leave them ANYWHERE with ANYONE. And you constantly check them to make sure they’re comfortable.

2. When you can’t take your dog with you, you install a handful of cams and a dozen apps to keep an eye on your dog even when you’re away. If you find something suspicious, you leave your dentist’s office, call it an emergency and leave.

3. You have it when people plan vacations because you can’t imagine what life would be like to leave your dog in the care of a professional dog sitter for a few days. So when someone asks you to go with them, your reaction…

4. If you have to go on a vacation, you customize it in such a way that your dog can come with you. Because apparently, no dog sitter, no matter how professional, can ever replace you.

5. You grab anything you find that you believe you can eat without checking the expiry date, but when it comes to buying your dog’s food, you investigate each and every component that makes up the food.
