Sleep becomes better when you’re not stressed, and dogs can help you achieve lower stress levels. They want you to be happy and will do practically anything to make sure you are! Dogs have the potential of helping you regulate your sleep, too! Here are some ways they can help you get a good night’s sleep!
Please note, these suggestions should NOT be regarded as medical advice. If you’re on medication, please continue and speak to your doctor about your sleep issues. Just thought I’d leave that out there! Here’s Part 1, in case you missed it!
1. Your dog knows that you need to be healthy if you want to be able to keep up with them so they encourage you to exercise! This will tire you enough to help you fall asleep!
2. Yoga? No problem! They can be great yoga partners! Downward dog pose? No problem! Yoga is known to give you a good night’s sleep – your dog knows that.
3. They encourage you to run like you used to when you were little! Running fixes sleep, doesn’t it?
4. If nothing works, watch them fall asleep… that’ll definitely make you want to sleep too!
5. And if nothing else works, cuddles and dog hugs is the only answer.
