A dog’s pure soul + a child’s pure heart = a match made in heaven!
This letter reminded me of a time when I wrote a letter to my neighbor asking them if I could visit their dog every evening! My reason? Dogs don’t bully. Bullying is real and it causes a lot of pain to victims, and lucky for some of us who find comfort in dogs. My reason was simple 0 I wanted to have a friend who doesn’t judge and doesn’t bully, and only dogs came into my mind. Lucky for me, my neighbor had a friendly dachshund who I made friends with! Well, back to this 10-year-old boy called Troy!
Recently, a dog named Arthur shared a beautiful letter written by a 4th grader boy called Troy on Instagram. Since it’s share, the letter has won over so many hearts, and for a good reason too!
The letter read,
“Hello Neighbors,
My name is Troy. I’m in 4th grade and I’m just wondering if maybe after this virus you need a dog sitter and if so I can take your dog on walks and more”
Arthur said, “I made friends with a small hooman today. He’s like basically me-sized. I bet I can get him to give me more treats than my hoomans.”
Soon enough Troy and Arthur had their first playdate together!
