Everyone meet Vinny, an adorable 12 year old Labrador pup, 89 years old in human years, who is an absolute sweetheart. Although he is a senior pup, this fur ball loves to eat, hears and sees like a puppy.
Vinny was brought to the Manhattan facility of New York Animal Care and Control mid this month and registered as “stray”. not only that, the poor fur ball had a deep wound on the top of his head that was treated by the vets. What should have been Vinny’s golden years are now lonely years filled with hurt and depression. Vinny wasn’t stray, the volunteers at the shelter could tell.
One of they said, “Once upon a time Vinny was young, handsome and someone’s beloved companion. Vinny is now a senior, doesn’t walk well, gets tired easily and is all alone. How can that be?… Vinny was happy for a slow walk outside to go potty, enjoy some treats and company, and then lay down to rest.”
“He enjoys some easy petting and more treats before needing some help to stand again and walk slowly back inside. Vinny is dreaming of the life he had before with someone to love and love him back, good care and good food.” Take a look at Vinny’s video on page 2 below.
