21 Puppies And Dogs Rescued From Horrible Living Conditions In NYC Apartment

Just a few days ago, the NYPD’s Animal Cruelty Investigation Squad received multiple calls regarding a potential case of animal abuse in Brooklyn. They got a warrant and entered the apartment in question.

As soon as officers stepped into the apartment, they were appalled by what they encountered.

Many large dogs were stuffed into crates that were way too small for them, and two dogs were even chained to the radiator and dishwasher respectively. There was no food or water for them, and the floor was covered in feces and urine. All of the dogs were malnourished, and the officers had no idea how long they had been living in those conditions.

The ASPCA was called to help rescue the 21 dogs from the apartment. They were also tasked to care for the dogs. Representatives with the ASPCA were shocked by the conditions they saw in the apartment and declared that it was one of the worst cases they had in a while. The dogs were clearly beaten and had cuts all over.

Some couldn’t walk because of how malnourished they were. They even had yellow stains on their paws as a result of sitting in urine for so long. The dogs will be looked after by the ASPCA until they are healthy enough to be adopted. Fortunately, all of their physical wounds can be treated with proper care. Two men were arrested and charged with animal cruelty. The people of NYC have shared their anger regarding this case, and they demand that justice be served.
