Here Are 5 Ways To Include Your Pups This Christmas!

Is it too early to get excited about Christmas? No, of course not! It’s a time for family and friends, and we all know pups are a big, fluffy part of the family.

Believe it or not, there are great ways that you can include your fur balls in the Christmas festivities. Here are some of them.

1. Food

First, let’s talk about the most obvious one. Sadly, a pup can’t feast on any of those rich leftovers you have saved up, and you’ll have to keep him away from any chocolates and or thrown out food – we all know it’ll make them sick! But you can fill a Kong with steamed sweet potato and turkey for a delicious, healthy Christmas-themed treat, and there are always pup-friendly Christmas crackers that you can purchase!

2. Gifts

You can always hand your pup a neatly wrapped gift for him to tear open, so he can discover the new toy hidden inside! In addition to that, why not put together a special Christmas stocking just for your pup? Fill it with treats and toys and decorate it with bones, paw prints, and of course, their name. While you’re at it, why not send a greeting card to your pup? Fill it with thin treats or find thin treats to put into an envelope for a cute gift.

3. Santa photos

There are numerous spots where you can get a picture of your pup sitting on Santa’s lap. If your fur ball doesn’t seem to like the idea of befriending a big, strange bearded man, Photoshop is your friend! These pictures make great unique Christmas cards, too!

4. Holidays and daytrips

With a bit of research, you can find a pup-friendly vacation spot that your fur ball can tag along to. Beach trips, road trips, and hiking trips are all fun ideas. Just remember not to leave your pup alone in the car, ever.

5. Foster a Pup in Need

Christmas is all about being grateful and being compassionate. So if you have some space and time, why not foster a pup during the holidays? You can give a fur ball a home to rest in, and your current pup gets a new playmate. Sounds like a win-win!

This is really making me look forward to the festive season! I hope you got some cool ideas on how to include your fur ball this Christmas. Like and share away, people!
