Let me tell you that when I don’t clean my house, I can see a difference in my dog’s behavior – he becomes, sort of, sad and I can tell that it’s the negativity from the mess that’s getting to him. Here are some tips to make your home your dog’s most favorite place on Earth! Here’s Part 1, in case you missed it!
1. Pictures
Don’t you love it when you walk into your home and see pictures of yourself and your dog? Takes you back in time, doesn’t it? Well, here’s a secret – your dog loves the pictures too! If possible add more pictures of them in your house so it feels like home to them too!
2. Limit Free Run
While you might think that it’s an incredible idea to let your dogs run free at home, in the long run, this will cost you. A house without rules will encourage your untrained dogs to jump on people and beg for food, or table scraps. This isn’t something you want especially if you want them to be happy and healthy for their entire lives.
3. Bed Sharing
Share your bed with your dog only if both you and your human partner agree. Apparently romantic partners are turned off to see a pair of eyes watching their every move! Without discussions, sharing your bed with your dog can create tension in your love life.
How many of you have done this? Let us know in the comments.
