Imagine that you bring home your ball of love and try hard to help them adjust to your sleep routine, but no matter how hard you try, they just won’t fall asleep when you want them to! Or maybe, it’s the other way around?

Here are some dogs who prefer a little extra of everything so as a dog parent, you may need to make some special considerations! Here’s Part 1, in case you missed it!

1. Clumber Spaniel

Although these dogs love their sleep and won’t mind sleeping through the night, they can be extra alert in the morning and needs constant supervision. These dogs cannot be left alone because they can get bored pretty quickly and they need a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise, broken up into two or three walks.

2. Belgian Malinois

These are excellent guard dogs and they do their job well any hour of the day. They also like to keep an eye on their family and do regular checks around the house. These dogs are high-energy and require a lot of exercise, including a lot of mental and physical stimulation. They require three 30 minute sessions at the very least!

3. Maremmas

These dogs are best kept on a farm where they can roam free and look after livestock. They do not appreciate staying indoors and are quite active in the night.

4. Vizsla

This dog is a true athlete. Not only do they require a lot of exercise, but they also hate to be left alone. These dogs need a minimum of 1 hour of exercise every day. Yes, we said minimum!
